Thursday January 28, 2027 7:00pm - 8:00pm EST
The New Teacher Network is a professional learning series specifically designed to support educators in their first five years of teaching as they develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to create engaging and effective learning environments.

Grounded in high-leverage teaching practices, this professional learning community provides powerful opportunities for collaboration, reflection, and practical application of research-based instructional strategies. As a foundational benefit, all participants will receive a copy of the book The New Teacher Network by Berit Gordon.

Each session connects theory to practice through interactive discussion, shared problem-solving, real-world classroom scenarios, and peer collaboration.

Throughout the series, teachers will:
- Strengthen their ability to build respectful relationships with students and families.
- Reflect on and strengthen classroom routines, expectations, and small-group
learning management.
- Design impactful lessons that directly support student growth.
- Explore and utilize valuable instructional resources available within the Bay-
Arenac region.
