The M3 workshop series includes 6 core training topics and will provide teachers with highly actionable professional development and coaching. They will learn to transition from a “one-size-fits-all” instructional model to a hands-on workshop model that effectively integrates critical math standards and practices. Math Workshop NOT One Size Fits All - AUDIENCE: Grades: K- 5th Do you often feel like “One size fits nobody” when it comes to math instruction for your class? In this workshop, you will learn: • Develop a successful system to run a Math Workshop in your classroom tomorrow • Use your math series within Math Workshop by backward designing lessons to meet the needs of all students • Differentiate math instruction within your guided math group and for students’ independent practice • To develop routines and a culture for students to guide their learning using hands-on manipulatives and game-based learning
