Finding a Session
Use the Search feature to find a specific session by title or keyword, or use the filters on the side of the page to narrow the available sessions and find opportunities that meet your needs.

Registering for a Session
When you find a session you would like to attend, simply click the session to add it to your schedule. Adding a session to your schedule automatically registers you for that session.

Registering for a Series
If you are attending a multi-session series, search for the series title to quickly locate all related dates. Be sure to select each session/date you plan to attend.

You can return to this SCHED event throughout the year to explore new opportunities, manage your schedule, and access updated session information and resources.

Educator’s Guide to Emerging Drug Trends and Prevention Strategies

Audience: Teachers, Leaders, Special Education, General Education, Health, School Counselors

This training equips educators with the knowledge and tools to stay ahead of emerging drug trends affecting youth.

Participants will explore the latest substances, concealment methods, and patterns of use, as well as evidence-based prevention strategies.

Through interactive discussions and real-world scenarios, educators will learn how to foster open conversations with students, recognize early warning signs, and collaborate with community resources to support prevention efforts.

This session empowers educators to create safer, healthier learning environments while adapting to the ever-changing landscape of substance use.

M3: Molding Math Mindsets Series - Math Workshop NOT One Size Fits All

The M3 workshop series includes 6 core training topics and will provide teachers with highly actionable professional development and coaching. They will learn to transition from a “one-size-fits-all” instructional model to a hands-on workshop model that effectively integrates critical math standards and practices. 

Math Workshop NOT One Size Fits All - AUDIENCE: Grades: K- 5th
Do you often feel like “One size fits nobody” when it comes to math instruction for your class? Math Workshop will provide more time for students to have appropriate instructional math within your math instruction.

From small group instruction, games, technology and more you will transform your classroom with a balanced, student-centered approach to learning.

In this workshop, you will learn:
• Develop a successful system to run a Math Workshop in your classroom tomorrow
• Use your math series within Math Workshop by backward designing lessons to meet the needs of all students
• Differentiate math instruction within your guided math group and for students’ independent practice
• To develop routines and a culture for students to guide their learning using hands-on manipulatives and game-based learning

Cost:  $25 per session for BAISD districts
          $50 per session for outside districts
